This month, the “Santa Maria Art Society” was formed. The course lead by head explorer Matt Pettersson focused on the fundamentals of drawing, color mixing and of course painting.
We just had to share this latest class session in a series based on a seafaring vessel. This one, as you probably guessed, is based on the Santa Maria ship, which was the largest of three ships used by Christopher Columbus in his first voyage. Of course, the artists had to take the opportunity to add a pirate theme to their art.
We’re looking forward to see all the amazing art from this years Santa Maria Art Society!
