A Day in the Life

with Oscar Mayer

October 2017

My name is Oscar Mayer. Hello and welcome to my 1st blog. I have never made one before so I will tell you what my day is like.

Me and my mama wake up about 7am 🌞. While I wait until my mama gets done with what she does she lets me out so I can go potty 💩 . I run back in the house so I can get my breakfast. I love to eat so it is nice to get something good My mama puts a little water in it to make gravy 🍕.

I gobble it down because I am so hungry after sleeping all night. After I eat I feel a little sleepy so I take a nap until I have to potty again. My mama lets me out again, Sometimes, like today, I got to stay outside for a little while. I love it outside.

I like to sunbathe, or go gopher hunting 🐹. Sunbathing is my favorite but gopher hunting is so much fun. I like to see if I find one. I don’t but sometimes I do, When I do they peek up and look around. When they see me they duck down again and I dig for them, but my mama tells me to stop because she doesn’t want me to dig.

Anyway around 5 I eat again 🍔. I get full and I sleep until bedtime 🌜. My Mama lets me out and we go to bed. Every so often I lay on my mamas spot where she sleeps and she has to tell me to move then I lay down and go to sleep until I start another day.

Oak Creek Farm

Situated on an oak studded ranch, next to a running creek, our little farm provides us the opportunity to raise and care for miniature farm animals and for every Explorer to grow fresh vegetables of their choosing.

Farmer Kitchen

We make delicious recipes using vegetables from our gardens and fresh eggs from our own chickens. We grow and develop our cooking skills and discover the joy of vegetables and beautiful fresh food.

The Santa Maria Art Society

Throughout each week we learn and practice the fundamentals of drawing and canvas painting. We paint original works of art and occasionally we learn to paint the wonderful things we make from The Splinter Group.

S.H. Hong's School of Taekwondo

Beginner and experienced alike are invited to learn this traditional Korean martial art, taught by Grand Master S.H. Hong himself. Taekwondo promotes healthy living, and increased coordination, and physical and mental agility.
